Radio Travel host Pamela Wilson, features hidden cultural sites of Southern California.  Treasures of the West is Broadcast on KPFK 90.7 FM in Los Angeles & on the web

my Current show features The Natural History Museum, an interview with the California Art Club, and Visiting the Pacific Asia Museum in Pasadena.

In the city of  Pasadena just slightly off the beaten path, there is a museum called "The Pasadena Museum of California Art",  where visitors can view an exhibit featuring the work of an early impressionist artist by the name of E. Charlton Fortune.  She captured the light and beauty of every day life in Monterey California in the late 1800's.  Her love for color and light is revealed in her work as she painted in Plein air in early Monterey, as well as the seaside village in early St Tropez France.

Next is to a hidden meditation sanctuary in Ojai California, high above the valley on the cliff side of a mountain sits a garden oasis called Meditation Mount.  Here you'll discover a tranquil meditation center surrounded by the beauty of nature, where you can meditate and honor the world of inner peace.  People gather on a monthly basis for full moon ceremonies, yoga classes, Tai chi, workshops and lectures facilitated by spiritual teachers from around the world.  Here is a view of Meditation Mount in Ojai.
