Work experience in radio: For more than 13 years Pamela has hosted and produced a half hour monthly radio show called "Treasures of The West" featuring historical and cultural landmarks in Southern California. The program reminds listeners about the hidden treasures located throughout the city of Los Angeles, San Diego and Santa Barbara county highlighting Southern California's rich history, including on-site interviews with museum directors, artists and curators, historians and business proprietors. The show includes a calendar of events being held each season and can be heard monthly on community sponsored K.P.F.K. or anytime at www.treasuresofthewest.net.
Weekly calendar announcer: Every Friday Pamela announces a three minute calendar produced for 90.7 FM K.P.F.K. radio in Los Angeles broadcasting a wide range of community events being held throughout the city of Los Angeles, San Diego and Santa Barbara county. The calendar airs on Friday at 12:55 pm and 5:55 pm during high commuter traffic hours. Content includes a variety of community events edited from press releases and websites with information on dates, times and location of the events.
Technical skills include: Proficient in research, recording interviews with audio disk recorder, writing story and narration, editing interviews, music, and producing show with a multi-track program called Cool Edit Pro, arranging interviews on site, transferring files with the use of FTP protocol or various mp3 transfer programs.
